About me

IMG_0471.JPG

I have a deep passion for my work. The roots of that passion are in the formative experiences I had growing up in West London in the turbulent days of the ‘70s and early ‘80s, as a child of immigrant parents. Racial abuse and intolerance were woven into the fabric of my daily Life.

This was my early “lived experience” as the jargon has it. I prefer to say it was just Life. These raw encounters gave me a very personal insight into social injustice, inequality, the anatomy of intolerance, and the DE&I challenges that we face as a nation.

They also nurtured in me a belief that with strong will, with good intent, and with greater and better knowledge and understanding of ourselves, of each other, and of our institutions, things could change. It’s this belief that drives me forward, and it’s this belief that informs everything I deliver.

About my work

My experience has been broad and wide and deep. I’ve worked both in-house and as an independent consultant to large organisations. I’ve undertaken public sector DE&I work with the Met Police and the MOD, and in the private sector, I’ve run executive skills programmes with leaders in Samsung, BA, and Disney.

As a leadership coach, I’ve worked long-term and one-to-one with individuals to tackle and resolve deep-seated issues that have hampered their professional success. My approach is bespoke, person-centred and flexible.

I draw on a broad range of tools, methods and techniques, with certifications in Myers Briggs, Insights Personality Discovery, and NLP. I hold an MA in Human Resource Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Training and Development. I am a member of professional bodies including the ICF the EMCC and the CIPD.
